This woman in her early twenties from western Massachusetts came to my office to discuss breast augmentation. Her goals from breast augmentation included a better figure balance, a natural slope in the upper breast and improve her breast size asymmetry. She ultimately chose to use textured round implants slightly smaller than her fill volume of 325cc. I used a 300cc implant on the right and a 285cc implant on the left. I placed the implants above the muscle (subglandular/subfascial) using an incision underneath the breast (inframammary).

The surgery takes about an hour and patients are ready to go home shortly after the surgery is finished. I do not use drains of tight wraps and patients often do not require narcotic pain medication. Patients generally resume normal activities within one or two days following surgery.
