This patient in her early fifties from MetroWest Massachusetts came to my office to discuss breast augmentation. Her goals from breast augmentation Boston included correcting postpartum breast deflation and subtle roundness in the upper breast. She chose 265cc silicone implants which are slightly above her soft tissue fill volume. The implants used are mid profile and placed below the muscle (dual plane) using an incision underneath the breast (inframammary).

The surgery takes about an hour and patients are ready to go home shortly after the surgery is finished. I do not use drains of tight wraps and patients often do not require narcotic pain medication. Patients generally resume normal activities within one or two days following surgery.
