This woman in her late forties from Boston’s South Shore came to my office to discuss breast rejuvenation after massive weight loss. Her goals from breast augmentation included lifting her breasts, improving her figure balance, and giving fullness to the upper breast. In order to achieve her goals, I recommended a breast lift combined with implant augmentation. I used 485cc mid profile textured round silicone gel filled implants placed under the muscle (dual plane) using a circumareolar mastopexy incision.

The surgery takes about an hour, and patients are ready to go home shortly after the surgery is finished. I do not use drains of tight wraps and patients often do not require narcotic pain medication. Patients generally resume normal activities within one or two days following surgery.
