This woman in her mid-twenties from the Greater Boston area came to my office to discuss breast augmentation. Her goals from breast augmentation included a better figure balance and fullness in the upper breast. I recommended implants approximately 50cc above her fill volume which she ultimately chose. I used 315cc round silicone implants placed below the muscle (dual plane) using an incision underneath the breast (inframammary).

The surgery takes about an hour, and patients are ready to go home shortly after the surgery is finished. I do not use drains of tight wraps and patients often do not require narcotic pain medication. Patients generally resume normal activities within one or two days following surgery.
