This woman in her early fifties from the Boston’s North Shore came to my office to discuss breast augmentation. Her goals from breast augmentation included achieving a more balanced figure and an natural shape to the breast. Ultimately we decided to use extra high profile round silicone implants with a textured shell. The 400cc implants are approximately 100cc below her fill volume.

The surgery takes about an hour, and patients are ready to go home shortly after the surgery is finished. I do not use drains of tight wraps and patients often do not require narcotic pain medication. Patients generally resume normal activities within one or two days following surgery.
