This patient in her mid forties from Boston’s north shore came to my office to discuss body contouring after having had children. Her goals from surgery were to flatten her tummy and improve her waistline. She had a tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) and liposuction of her torso circumferentially. A full abdominoplasty with tightening of her abdominal muscles was performed. Often liposuction will enhance the results achievable by abdominoplasty alone; these procedures are readily performed at the same surgery.
