The Process

As with local patients, we will coordinate a conversation between you and one of our patient coordinators to fully understand your goals and expectations.
We will follow up with detailed information via email, which will include instructions for completing the intake form and the type of photos needed (including angles and distance), along with how to send them to us.
The next step is a virtual consultation with one of Clareo’s board-certified surgeons to review options that meet your goals.
Patients are welcome to make a separate trip for an in-person consultation; however, we can arrange for you to make only one trip for both consultation and surgery. For a combined trip, you would arrive in town the day before surgery, meet your Clareo surgeon and staff in person, and then stay through your immediate post-operative recovery.
You will have at least two appointments with the doctor before you leave town.

Visiting Nurse Package

At Clareo, we collaborate with Vital Care Boston as part of our comprehensive Visiting Nurse package. Vital Care Boston will coordinate with our team to arrange your transportation from the surgical center to your hotel or home (if staying locally with a friend or family member), so you can focus on your recovery. In addition, they offer personalized post-surgical aftercare based on your individual care plan. Their services include assistance with garment changes, incision site cleaning, dressing changes, and help with showering.

Their team is dedicated to ensuring that you receive the highest level of care during your recovery, allowing you to heal with confidence and peace of mind. Accommodations

To make your visit easier, Clareo has partnered with the Lenox Hotel, located just a short distance from our offices. After working with the Clareo Patient Coordinators to schedule their procedure and review their care plan, patients will book their own accommodations at the hotel. Patients will be given a code to get a discounted rate and can make reservations online or by phone.

About the Lenox Hotel

Housed in a Beaux-Arts building from 1900, this luxury hotel in Back Bay is just a block from the shopping destinations of Newbury Street and a 20-minute stroll from Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Sox.
